The WINSTA® MIDI cable assembly with protection type IP20 provides the foundation for assembly of solid and fine-stranded conductors. Our pluggable installation connectors with spring pressure connection technology function completely without screw connections. They allow resource-efficient, error-free installation in a large number of applications. For greater protection in electrical installations, the pluggable installation connector is provided with mechanical protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector is protected against ingress by solid objects in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). Regulated lighting, as used in the DALI standard, for example, is the primary domain of use of WINSTA® MIDI pluggable installation connectors with I coding. The WINSTA® MIDI Pluggable Connection System with Push-in CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology facilitates precise electrification. Thanks to the built-in test slot, connections can be checked even when they are plugged in. That saves time and reduces installation labor and expense. Building safety must be ensured at all times, even after the electrical installation stage. The safety requirements in connection with EU CPR are met by this product through fire class D. In the manufacturing of this cable assembly, halogens were deliberately omitted. That is an important contribution to climate protection.
