Applications can communicate bi-directionally with the control center or another application via GPRS. A TSC-enabled remote station is required to communicate and connect. Serial RS-232 interface provides the opportunity to easily integrate the GPRS modem into the existing technical infrastructure. Regardless of the operating system used by the application, the GPRS modem uses TCP/IP networks for communication. Incoming and outgoing GSM/CSD data calls are supported.
